Folding impellers provide a convenient way of mixing within vessels with small openings. Designed for good axial flow for mixing, heat transfer and solids suspension, these impellers are made in the style of both the larger hydrofoil impellers and marine style impellers. The twin blades are self opening on mixer start-up and are perfectly suited to portable mixers, particular those operating in 205L storage drums or IBC’s.

- Applications: Mixing, heat transfer and solids suspension where the impeller must pass through a small orifice, such as IBC’s, storage drums and flanged connections.

Finishing OptionsJM Engineering can provide a range of finishing options for all shafts and impellers. This ensures a long, trouble free life in a variety of environmental conditions. Select from our standard range of coating systems, or we can adhere to your own specifications. Standard options include:
- Polished – Shafts and impellers can be electro-polished for a high quality, mirror finish. This may be required in hygenic applications such as pharmaceutical and food manufacturing.
